Hi! I’m Amy—founder of Salt Town, a former veterinary nurse turned conscious coastal curator starting her first business.

Salt Town was born in a season of change. In 2019, I found myself at a crossroads. A long chapter in my veterinary medicine career was coming to a close.

I spent years caring for sick and injured animals, growing into leadership roles, recruiting top talent, and helping build a respected hospital brand that people trusted. I had worn many hats with determination and adaptability, but stepping into my new chapter as a mom was different. I wasn’t sure how to reinvent myself, personally or professionally.

During those uncertain days, I found refuge by the Delaware coast. Surrounded by salt air, shifting tides, and endless horizons, I began to breathe deeper. The land- and seascapes I explored with my young son stirred something in me: a desire to capture the calm, warmth, and renewal I felt by the water.

Drawing on my background as a nurse and new mom, I began carefully sourcing clean ingredients and toxin-free fragrances, products safe for families, pets, and homes. The road hasn’t been easy; it’s been filled with a few bumps of self-doubt, healing, and rediscovery. But it has also been beautifully raw, real, and humbling.

Salt Town is more than a home fragrance line. It’s my way of sharing the peace of the coast, no matter where you are or what season you’re in.
